We are looking for an easy going, honest person with a desire to excel and a positive attitude. The position will involve a three month probationary period, and if successful may transfer into a permanent position. 

The role offers the opportunity for training in specialist fields, including instrumentation and protection relay testing.

Key Skills:

• Trade qualified electrical fitter mechanic, QLD licence preferred or prepared to obtain one.
• Safety Focused
• Previous experience with switchboard manufacturing
• Electrical marine background advantageous
• Current driving licence and reliable car
• Ability to read schematic drawings
• Knowledge of wiring rules and regulations
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Experience in fabrication of busbar systems highly regarded
• Flexible between different work environments and varying clients
• Willing to learn and teach
• Fault finding
• Further training for the right candidate in basic instrumentation and protection relay testing

Desirable Experience:

Experience in any or all of the following areas is desirable

• Possess a demonstrated ability to work within and be accountable to agreed bidding targets.
• Switchboards
• Marine
• Industrial
• Mining
