Bilfinger Berger
Services acquires i.power solutions
Specialist contractor Bilfinger Berger Services today announced the
acquisition of electrical engineering and manufacturing company, i.power solutions.
The acquisition
of i.power solutions supports Bilfinger Berger Services' strategy to
expand into the electrical contracting sector and will enable the delivery
of an integrated total asset solution to the mining, infrastructure
and utilities market particularly in the power sector.
Providing expertise
in automation, control and IT solutions, i.Power will diversify Bilfinger
Berger Services offerings to the process, utility and resource industries
particularly in the areas of design, engineering, automation and instrumentation.
Managing Director
of Bilfinger Berger Services, Mark Elliott said this acquisition enables
Bilfinger Berger Services to offer a comprehensive electrical solution
to the power generation market across Australia.

turnover and 450 highly skilled engineers, technicians and trades people,
i.power solutions and the recent acquisition of Clough Engineering and
Maintenance, cements Bilfinger Berger Services footprint in QLD, NSW
& WA."
