i.power solutions’ underground mining substations and switchgear
can be found in remote and regional locations throughout Australasia.
Designed to meet the demanding requirements of the mining environment,
the substations are available on wheels or skids and offer a low
temperature rise at their full rating. .Substation designs are
based on the specifications of the high voltage primary switchgear,
transformer and low voltage secondary switchgear set by the customer.
The enclosures are made of 2.5mm sheet steel, or alternatively
from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel and are rated to a protection
level of IP55.
